Greater Ekklesia Ministries International (GEM International) was birthed out of the Ladywood Revival in Birmingham, UK. The Rev. Deborah Harrison, Pastor of Ecclesia Ministries, UK, partnered with Apostle Carol Francis-Gordon of Epiphany Praise Centre, and the Methodist Church of Ladywood, to bring Bishop Mark Allen Smith of Greater Ekklesia Ministries of Valdosta, GA to conduct a revival in the Ladywood community of Birmingham, UK on September 1-4, 2012. The revival meeting was a huge success and the revival fire must continue throughout the world. After this great meeting the Lord placed it upon the heart of Bishop Smith to organize a network of ministries and pastors to aid in bringing revival to areas seeking a fresh relationship with almighty God! This network is assembled for the sole purpose of setting the captive free through Deliverance & Revival Ministries. GEM International is an Interdenominational Fellowship designed to allow groups to fellowship across denominational lines without the fear of losing the tents they hold so dear. GEM International is a multicultural worship enterprise focused on glorifying God to the highest. On 27 September 2012, Bishop Smith sought Incorporation for Greater Ekklesia Ministries International as a parent organization and convened our first official meeting on 28 October 2012 in Valdosta, Georgia with a service of ordination and covenant duly establishing the fellowship of our churches. Since that event churches from across world have petitioned to partner with us. To God be the Glory! |
